Fashion wasn’t what you wore someplace anymore; it was the whole reason for going.”

— Andy Warhol

Christie’s is presenting an innovative sale of Warhol’s photographs and illustrations just in time for #NYFW.

From September 11 – 25, collectors will be able to bid on Andy’s intimate portraits of Gianni Versace, André Leon TalleyGiorgio Armani, Princess Caroline of Monaco, and more in our online-only sale here. In addition, buyers can take a peek at Warhol’s charming illustrations of must-have accessories that once graced the pages of today’s sartorial soothsayers, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

This special two-week online-only sale will benefit The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. It is accompanied by a special pop-up exhibition at Tribeca Grand Hotel during Fashion Week.
